As time goes "bye"

When things around you have always been black,

Recognizing white takes time.

~

When your heart is a minefield,

No one can approach you without getting hurt.

~

When you don’t know which way you want to go,

No compass will lead you.

Is everything okay?

Transalation:

Man who wear black shades see all dark.
Man who walk minefield end up dead.
Man with no compass become loafer.

Kidding...the song and the poem really fits well.

That was beautifully sad, and true too. Khair, inshallah, and alhamdulillah for everything.

(I hope I am not reading too much into the "bye" in the title of this post--please don't let this be good-bye).

Dg I am well alhamdolillah, Allah yesallimak, thank you :)

Archer lol, yes you do have a way of interpreting my poetry to the very bluntest of messages.

Digital Nomad, indeed, alhamdolillah 3ala kolli haal. I am not saying my good-byes to the blog :) You are too sweet. But don't we all say good-bye to people and things and times in our lives? Whether its teenage years, a best friend or beloved. The poem was a reflection of some of the very little I have observed about us human beings.

Hey SS back with some more thought provoking poetry after a long time. Hope things are well.

Its true if things have always been black recognizing white takes time, but when you do recognize white, it is brighter and better then ever.

Its is also true that if your heart is a minefield no one can approach you without getting hurt, but haven't you heard of people who care and risk everything trying to clear mine fields.

In some situations where the needle of the compass is not helpfull a bright star may lead you to where you want to go.
