Anafora in Pictures

Anafora, Egypt: Bishop Thomas whom I wrote about earlier, created this haven during the past 20 or more years. Where the food is home grown and organic and nothing but natural light during the day and candles at night is used to light up the interior.

It is open for visitors so I do recommend that you do that. The place was just breathtaking and he was kind enough to offer lunch. I haven't tasted such fresh food and vegetables since my time in Syria.

Jamila the place is amazing, the architecture is simple yet very original and makes use of the land which it lives on. No electricty or heating or cooling.

Salams Umar! Good to see you :) It's amazing isn't it.

Candy girl! My pleasure. The song is by Jagjit Singh. Ghazals are very soothing. Everyone should visit Bishop Thomas, he himself is a sight worth seeing along with the Anafora he created.
