A silent world

"You say nothing at all,
yet everything's already been said.
On a day like this I fall,
though I didn't make my bed."

Malaria kills more than one million people every year in Africa. 70% of them are children under 5. The picture is of a baby infected by malaria, sleeping. It is a simple disease to cure. But it needs funds to be able to do so.

Malaria is still prevailant in most of the third world, vaccines and medicines even though available can not be provided because they cost money, no one seems to be bothered. I wish we could do more.

We all need to take heed, it is our world and we are all connected one way or another. There is much we can do and I am sure we will put our minds to it and make changes in this world.

Yes D Reb, there is often a solution to these problems yet no means to apply it.
